If your community uses Smart Home features and you’re experiencing issues with the Smart Home devices in your home, try these troubleshooting techniques to resolve the problem.
Refresh your devices using the My Home page
Open the LittleBird mobile app on your mobile device.
Browse to the My Home (house) icon in the navigation bar.
Tap and hold your mobile device’s screen while pulling downward to refresh your Smart Home devices. For a moment, loading symbols will appear where you’d normally see your devices’ names. This means your devices are currently refreshing.
Once your devices finish refreshing and the loading symbols disappear, try using your Smart Home devices again. If the issue persists, try the next troubleshooting technique.
Refresh your devices using the Everything Else page
Open the LittleBird mobile app on your mobile device.
Browse to the More Options (...) icon in the navigation bar and tap to open the Everything Else screen.
Tap the Refresh Devices option. This will automatically refresh your devices and redirect you to your My Home screen. You can view all of your Smart Home devices on this screen.
Once you’ve been redirected to your My Home screen, try using your Smart Home devices again. If the issue persists, try the next troubleshooting technique.
Restart the App
Force close the LittleBird mobile app on your mobile device.
Relaunch the LittleBird mobile app and wait for 5 seconds.
Try using your Smart Home devices again. If the issue persists, try the next troubleshooting technique.
Check your internet connection
If your mobile device doesn't have internet or cellular connection, you can’t use it to operate your Smart Home devices. Double-check that your mobile device has an internet connection and retry using your Smart Home devices before proceeding to the next step.
